Key Responsibilities:

Data Interrogation: Use SQL to extract and analyze data from databases to provide deep-dive insights.
Reporting & Dashboards: Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI to support executive decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related field.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and at least minimum Power BI skills.
Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to monitor data and provide actionable insights that support business growth.
Documentation: Skilled in drafting functional specifications for technical developers.
Experience: Previous experience in a high-growth environment similar to the MPP reporting ecosystem.

Role:
You are expected to play a delivery-focused, cross-functional techno-managerial role for a European CPG client. You’ll be responsible for:
1. Architecting Data Solutions: Provide solution architecture and thought leadership for end-to-end data projects (across multiple functions viz., Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, DevOps etc.) on Azure stack. The projects will involve ETL/ELT, Data Lake creation, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, Customer 360 data harmonization, Dashboarding etc.
2. Cross-functional Project Delivery Management: Work closely with the client, functional team (Azure data engineers, PowerBI developers, DevOps team etc.), and business stakeholders. Own the project management (including scrum ceremonies), planning, risk assessment & tracking, and delivery of multiple parallel client projects with utmost client satisfaction and delivery success, while maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
3. Team Management: Drive excellent teamwork and utmost people satisfaction in the projects you drive. Meticulously and regularly identify, document, and communicate the requirements related to training & upskilling, rewards & recognition, and performance feedback with the functional leaderships / HR team. Work with the functional leaderships to identify optimal resourcing strategy. You are also expected to contribute to the hiring and developing of talents in the functional area(s) of your strength.
4. Business Growth: Be an active internal agent for business account growth. Not only spot opportunities within existing projects but also look for new project ideas which might be beneficial for client. Pitch those suggestions to client as an expert.
Technical Skills:
· 8+ years of solid experience with architecting, designing, and implementing end-to-end ETL/ELT and Data Warehousing solutions on the Azure stack.
· 4+ years of experience in leading/managing data projects for clients.
· Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL.
· Proficiency with Databricks, Data Lake, Delta Lake, Data Factory, Azure Functions, Synapse, and Power BI dashboards.
· Strong ability to evaluate the feasibility of client requirements and translate business needs into technical tasks.
· Experience in implementing agile methodologies (including Scrum) to ensure iterative and efficient project execution by leveraging task management tools. Working knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and code repositories like Git, Azure DevOps, etc.
